If there's one thing New Zealand does well, it's musical exports. From Split Enz's halcyon days in the UK to the globe's current love affair with Lorde and Kimbra, Kiwis have always done well on their musical OE's. Here are a couple of ex-pats you should be keeping a close eye on: Streets of Laredo The folky outfit born from the deconstruction of pop-punkers Kingston and ElemenoP boasts a brotherly duo in front and has amassed an expansive band family behind them. After blowing away the New Music Lounge at Bonnaroo, becoming press darlings with the AV Club and touring with the Kaiser Chiefs, the Brooklyn-based seven-piece is about to release their 'Volume 1 & Volume 2' EP's on iTunes. You can check out a teaser for their video for single 'Slow Train' below.

Ezra Vine You'll recognise singer/songwriter Joe Faris from last year's ridiculously infectious 'Celeste' - you also will have heard that he now shares a label with Radiohead and Coldplay. Now based in London, his 'Celeste' EP was released yesterday.
