5 Reasons We’ll Miss Barack Obama

Come January 20, President Barack Obama will officially end his duties as President of The United States. While we’ve come to admire him for his eloquence and leadership over the past eight years, there are also some simple things we’re just really going to miss:

His Hip Hop Collection
Obama told Rolling Stone that his playlist includes Jay Z, Nas and Lil Wayne. He’s invited Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar to perform at The White House, and he released a summer playlist on Spotify last year which featured songs by Mos Def and Erykah Badu. Smooth.

The way he appreciates a good costume
When the President saw this kid dressed as the Pope last Halloween, was majorly caught off guard and doubled over laughing. He told reporters the kid won “top prize”.

His sass
Barack absolutely nailed his latest appearance on Jimmy Kimmel, reading out put-downs addressed to him in the show’s Mean Tweets segment. He also gave Trump a mic drop. Boom.

How much he loves Michelle
Time and time again the Obama’s have melted our hearts with their displays of affection and total solidarity. They’re genuine, they’re smitten and they’re not afraid to show it.

The way he’s masterfully participated in pop culture
Boldly going where no president had gone before, President Obama was game enough to appear on Zach Galifianakis’ internet comedy show ‘Between Two Ferns’ back in 2014. This sparked a pretty major change, and was something we’d never seen a US President do before. Since then, he’s appeared in Seinfeld’s show ‘Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee’, he’s Slow Jammed The News with Jimmy Fallon, and has made constant pop culture references in speeches and interviews. He gets it, and he knows how to relate.

We’re going to miss you POTUS.
